Contact the Hearth
The door is open. Write to us about anything on these pages, about our gatherings, about a book you think we should read, or simply because you have been practising alone for years and would like to say hello to someone who understands.
Write to us
Before you write
We do not cast spells for other people, and we do not recommend anyone who does for money. If you are in trouble, we will listen, and we will point you to people who can genuinely help.
We do not perform initiations by post, email or video call. Anyone who offers you one is selling something.
We are not a crisis service. If you or someone near you is in danger, please contact your local emergency services first and us afterwards. We will still be here.
How quickly we reply
The mail is read by volunteers, usually within a few days and almost always within a fortnight. Around the Sabbats we are slower, because we are busy doing the thing the website is about. Thank you for your patience.
Press and research
We are glad to talk with journalists, students and researchers who want an accurate picture of contemporary witchcraft and paganism. Please tell us your deadline, your publication or institution, and whether you need quotations attributed. Several of us will only speak under our Craft names, and we ask that this be respected.
